In 20 years of using computers almost everyday, I've seen shitloads of software. Clearly, way more than a regular, run-of-the-mill person.
And I haven't seen a single program written in Java that wasn't complete crap.

There can be only two conclusions drawn from this fact:
1. Every java engineer is a complete humanitarian retard that studied java because he just couldn't wrap his mind around a proper programming language.
or
2. Java, as a language, simply doesn't allow you to write functionally correct, stable and effective software.


All of the talks about "rapid development" are bullshit. When choosing java you get syntax complexity of C++, yet totally nothing from the control C/C++ gives you.
